Hey guys, I'm trying to think of something completely awesome to cosplay. I have a bit to catch up on since there are 2 prize winners in the club now :-P I'm obviously wanting to cosplay a girl, but I want to do a character with lots of detail. I won't be able to use it for animania but it would be used probably this year. If you see something awesome in an anime or whatever, let me know the name of the series and the character so I can look it up.

Boofhead and I were discussing it and we think a bleach group would be the best type to go with... not just cause he lives and breathes bleach tho... it has the biggest variety of characters, other than naruto.
I'm thinking saber is the best one to do at the moment... I just need to think about how to make light armor, on a tight budget :-P
but still, more options are welcome.

I've seen some nice armour done with cardboard, which is your cheapest option. There's heaps of tuts and stuff for it on cosplay.com, in sure you know where they are. Although something that I've yet to try is using craft foam, same stuff andrew used for his crown/helmet thingo.

yeah, that foam is less than $5 for a massive sheet of it... i need it large too for the armor down her sides. should be good, just need the time... we get 5 weeks off in the middle of the year so thats probably my time to do it... although i'd love to start sooner... I just found another idea for a costume, although its a guy and not from an anime, its from a new japanese rpg game called the last remnant. www.game-reviews.ca/ktml2/images/uploads/tlr_cg_illustration.jpgi'm quite the sucker for rpg characters. hehehe

Ill prob just do a slightly improved spike spiegel for amaranth, ill let me hair grow out a bit more and ill have the right colour contact lenses (brown, one slightly lighter than the other ). Although i might find something else that could be cool...

I'll just get a suit with my Battle Royale collar. I can't cosplay for crap. So I can only do the best I can, let people use their imaginations and if they don't like it...f**k them.
