So, guys, I'm thinking that sometime (Maybe Friday night of manifest, but more realistically considering how broke we all may be) we all head down to Kbox. Not sure if you guys have done this yet but here it is...
For those of you who don't know of the wondrous Kbox, Kbox is a karaoke lounge - but, don't cringe just yet. Kbox is made up of several private rooms. You pay by the hour (works best with more people in order to save money) and get your own little room, complete with a karaoke machine, TV, phone for ordering food and drinks, disco ball, super comfy couches and even tambourines.
What's that you say? But I don't like English music? Well, never fear, Kbox offers not only english hits, but also has an extensive range of Japanese and Anime karaoke tracks, as well as Cpop and Kpop. I'm not kidding, the library is huge. I say this from personal experience - do not go with the people from Oztaku and expect to hear anything in English. XD
The best part about Kbox is that you don't have to be professional or even Karaoke material to enjoy it. The machines feature key and tempo adjustments, volume control, and no one can hear you outside the room. Also, if you're like me and prefer to have a tiny bit of liquid courage, Kbox offers drinks that include Sake` and Asahi beer as well as milk and ice teas, hot chocolate and non alcoholic drinks for the underagers. (Although, in all my time of going there even when I was under 18 I have never, ever been carded. Not that I'm endorsing underage drinking. *wink wink*)
Kbox is located in the CBD and is very easy to find.
So, should we keep this in mind for one day? Maybe we can all save, go into the city and have a few hours at Kbox. It is intensely fun, even for those who don't do Kareoke.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT DAYS YOU CAN COME AND TRY TO BE 100% SURE!
