The staff at SupaNova are *profanity*s. Good luck with asking them. I mean it.
Any guidelines on who can be cosplayed as? Are we talking anime, videogame and manga cosplays only or is it open?

Their not really *profanity*s, remember they have a lot to deal with, especially with the total guest stuff up and having to replace them, and heaps of people turning up expecting the original guests. And the supanova staff are not the manifest staff (some of them are involved in both events yes) But from what i hear the manifest staff are pretty cool  They advertised the sakura house cosplay dinner on their site, so they might advertise our event, in return in sure we could somehow promote manifest. Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant ;D I'm not sure on the guidelines yet, so i cant answer that one for you, sorry. But I'm open to any type of cosplay (being a western game cosplayer at heart) |

I'm aware of that. I was just responding to the idea of posting it on the SupaNova forums. A friend of mine tried to organise a meetup on their forums for her SupaNova friends once only to get everything deleted or something because it was 'advertising' not related to SupaNova. Not really sure, i wasn't on the forums at the time. They were fine at SupaNova, but they tend to be a bit assbutty behind their computers.
The Manifest guys are awesome. Really awesome.
Anyway,
I do hope it will be open cosplay, as I only have one non-western cosplay and it's... not very good.

yes just being childish i know but it's fun i like me
anyway as for the stuff on the first page about brought or make most good comp's have allowances for both manifest has had prizes for both every year i've been as in this day and age it is less and less common for ppl to make things them self i can't sow for nuts but it's about fun so not really the point
