Let's discuss our favourites and recommendations! Battle Royale - (hence why I want to cosplay for Manifest) 1st one was a nice and bloody movie. 2nd was meh. Oldboy - for a South Korean movie based on a Manga I gotta say they do it well. The Host - Quite possibly one of the best monster movies I've seen. Ichi The Killer - Again another awesome movie. I'm trying to find a J-movie about how people turn into zombies from garbage pile up on Mt. Fuji and they go rampant on a factory. I can't remember the name of it . If anyone knows what I am talking about please tell me so I can find and watch it. Or if you have recommendations please tell me!

I've seen Oldboy, that movie is awesome! Didn't know it came from a manga.
One of my all time favorite movies in general is a Hong Kong movie from the early 90s: Hard Boiled, directed by John Woo Starring Chow-Yun Fat. Best action movie EVER!!

Battle Royale is also a manga. Another movie to check out is Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance directed by the Old Boy director Park Chanwook. It is brilliant. Some great acting, a very fleshed out story and fine character development. I showed it to my brother as well and even he liked it.

Yep thats the one. Now if I could find it, the Ballarat JB Hi-Fi has moved their asian cinema section somewhere else and now I can't find the movie.

I've seen the Host and Ichi the killer (strange movie). I stumbled across them in jb hi-fi, it's always fun picking something at random at it turning out to be good.

Isn't it next to the Anime section? It used to be, now its either horror on one side, comedy on the other.

Haha that reminds me of a similar thing I did. I have a full scream killer costume from a dress up party from a few years ago, and this one night I was watching Scream with my family. Just before the end credits came up I walked to y room and got changed, by then the credits had started rolling. I called my home phone from my mobile, my bother answered it and I hang up. While he kept saying "Hello?, Hello?" over and over into the phone I snuck up behind him and stood there. He hung up, turned around, SCREAMED!, then RAN as fast as he could to the front door and was nearly out of it before he realised it was me I know it isn't asian cinema but hey I had to say that

I finally found Tokyo Zombie, but the people (said people were from a rare DVD shop in Melbourne, Elizabeth St) were asking for 60 dollars for it! So for better judgment I didn't buy it. Lifes not fair...
