If you get a costume off eBay, you could first contact the seller to establish that
the costume pictured is the exact article being auctioned. Then compare a good picture of the character with the image on eBay and mentally tick off each desirable detail that it has and determine if its ok.

ok well at the moment im just working on a basic cosplay for the walkabout next week, umm so 2nite i did a bit of good ol paper mache and voila ive got a really quick and shonky ulquiorra helm   just gotta make the jacket possibly 2morrow or sometime this week (in between doing uni work thats due) and ill be all ready! |

Nice work. Anyway, thanks all for your good eBay advice. At this rate I am hoping to secure manifest tickets first before investing in a costume. But I've got some idea on what I want and I will be asking sellers questions before considering a purchase.

ok update, not that ive finally started working again ive been able to go shopping for supplies!! got a new wig for ulquiorra 2day, also managed to get all the fabrics needed for the ballarat cosplay comp entry! just need to finish getting materials for making armour and other props 2morrow hopefully

Zac that Kenshin outfit looks awesome. I feel so glad I got you into RuroKen. Oh and since I'm a nagger should I dress up as Pain or Gaara or Jugo? Sorry all I can think of are Naruto characters. Kishimoto seems to like redheads.
