This is truely my favorite manga ever - read it! the first 4 volumes lag a bit, but then the story starts flying, getting better with every volume. Unfortunately, the anime adaption they did for Kyo was quite terrible....

The story is about the legendary Demon Eyes Kyo, slayer of one thousand men, whose soul in trapped inside the body of his mortal enemy, Kyoshiro Mibu. The two are polar opposites of each other - Kyo is stoic, powerful and enjoys drinking sake and killing, whereas Kyoshiro is kind, clumsy and a bit of an idiot... Yuya Shiina is after the bounty on Kyoshiro's head, but decides to let it slide when she learns his body harbours the soul of Demon Eye's Kyo - who has an even bigger bounty on his head. And thus starts the long and awesome story of Demon Eyes Kyo and his journey to get his body back (and kill Kyoshiro).......

Sigh... TokyoPop decided they're not going to release the last four volumes of SDK - I really hate it when they do that! Fortunately, some other publishing group is going to release them (Yay!) in november... I must read more! Kyo awakens in his super powerful Mibu form in time to kick the crap through Fubuki and Hishigi (those guys just won't die...), and Shihodo tries defeating the Crimson King....  |
