Like the title says.. is this club still active?? It'd be great if it was. Also, can anybody tell me a little bit more about it?

Hello,
yes this club is still active, although the boards here are never used anymore - try the Facebook page. We have club meets in Ballarat every month, usually the fourth friday of the month, or sometimes Saturdays. The meeting place is the Library next to the old Civic Hall, meet starts at 2pm until 6pm. If you'd like to come along, feel free. As I said, you'll be in way better luck to go on the Facebook page - I don't have the address as I'm not on Facebook myself.
