I finished collection 5 last week and it was pretty cool. I loved that bit when Bradley took out that tank. He truly lives up to the name Wrath. Making the last 13 eps slow was a good idea as a finale because it felt much more epic. I am also surprised that it made good closure. Most animes leave us hanging. I guess that's due to unfinished manga though.
I was quite surprised by this series because I was never the biggest fan of the original series. This anime series was wayyyy better. The story was so much more complex and had great character development. Characters like Ling, Olivier L. Armstrong and Izumi Curtis were all great additions to the story and there wasn't a moment of boredom mainly thanks to no fillers. The whole Father story was very well done and the homunculi felt much more involved this time round. not to mention their sin names suit them much. So glad they were not all girls. No offense.
Kimblee was so much more developed in this one and his personality and look on life made him my second favourite character. He was charming, psychotic, sleezy and had a killer white suit. So much better than the two dimentional Kimblee from the first series. He was just a psycho who killed without cause. In case your wondering, my first favourite would be Greed.
All in all it was a great series.

Nothing in this life comes easily. To achieve your goals, you must make certain sacrifices - spend your strength, time, limit yourself in something. Sometimes there are times when you want to give up everything and give up your dream. At such moments, remember how much you will gain if you go further and how much you will lose if you give up. The price of success is usually less than the price of failure.
