Hey Guys, I just found this on cosplay.com and I thought I should post it here. www.madman.com.au/cosplay/You have to do a skit for your cosplay though, it is a massive requirement. You also need to make a protfolio which explains your previous cosplay experiences. Anyway, I thought it was interesting

I saw this a while back, its would be great if it was doubles, but singles makes it less fun... That said, im still thinking about entering it if i get my spike cosplay finished. And I've convinced a friend of mine to enter it with mustang.

I'd love to enter, but I'd need to be really confident that my costume was amazing

Are you going to enter the normal cosplay contest? I wish i could enter my ODST in this, but its only characters from anime and manga.

Yeah, I'll probably enter the normal one, I've never entered a comp before but I'm sure I'd enjoy it. I have heaps of work to do though.... Yeah its a shame that you can't enter it with your ODST, it would be a definite crowd pleaser, as I'm sure you already know :-P

Your first contest is always great fun, especially if you win I have heaps of work to do myself, I’m hoping to nearly finish my state alchemist this weekend, and get some more of my ODST done (then again, in this heat I’m not sure I’ll get any ODST done). Then i have to start (and finish) my spike... all in less than 2 months...

Nice! I'm interested to see how many people the Ballarat comp will attract, and how many of those people are actually from Ballarat.

On the topic of the madman national comp, i think I'm going to enter. Here's my game plan: Hughes for the prelim. I think i can come up with a good skit that can be done by just me. Most likley involving a massive picture of Alecia on the projector ;D
If i get into the finals: Desert punk Its the perfect cosplay for this comp, it wont require a massive amount of work like my planned cosplay for the WCS, and it will look very impressive. Plus it makes for an easy skit, i just need to roll around and act like a clutz while the theme music is playing.
