Hmmm, I only just read that article, and yeah - it would be a bit of a kick in the guts for anyone who happened to be adopted. Saying that though, it is nowhere near as bad as some of the crap you find in video games these days - like GTA and such...oh well...

I disagree completely with everything in this article.
Anybody that has actually played through Portal 2 and listened to the dialogue would understand that the game isn't conveying a negative message against anybody who has been adopted. From my understanding of it, at least, it's actually the opposite.
Wheatley goes on about how being adopted is terrible and you (as the main character) should feel bad and GLaDOS defends you by asking what's wrong with being adopted - to which Wheatley has no response.
Wheatley doesn't know what's wrong with being adopted, because there isn't anything wrong with it. He's clearly just saying words at you. By that point of the game it's already made obvious that Wheatley was originally built to be a moron and make the worst choices possible.
I don't see how this is even news-worthy. It's just more rubbish that belongs on Today Tonight or A Currant Affair.

Yes - you do have a point. Saying that though, I haven't played Portal (yet) - and yes, they do seem to love blowing these things out of proportion, don't they?

Please, the only thing Bioware has going for them is Mass Effect 3. I still remain skeptical for The Old Republic.

OK allow me give you the lowdown on the important guys. Konami, pre-show before E3 not like last years (I don't care what people said, last years Konami conference was a laugh riot!). Remastered MGS (now with Transfarring) and ZOE. New Contra. Microsoft, let's see... there's MW3 being Headlined, Kinect, Halo 1 Remake, Kinect, EA Sports, Kinect, Firmware Update, ...kinect..., Fable as a KINECT SHOOTER (WTF~!?), Minecraft (seriously, Microsoft?)...on kinect, awkward kids playing some of the DUMBEST ideas for games for Kinect oh and also more Kinect... only saving grace was Halo 1 remake, Gears of War 3 demo and Halo 4 reveal. EA, they had Sports, Battlefield 3, New SSX (I loved that game!), Mass Effect 3 (OH HELL YES!), new Need for Speed and finally more of The Old Republic (EA, never let Bioware go). Ubisoft, they had Assassins Creed Revalations, Rayman Origins ( <3 ), more Rabbids... on Kinect, Far Cry 3, new Ghost Recon, Child of Eden (on Kinect, by the same guy who did Lumines and Rez...), Beyond Good and Evil 2 (will people still buy it? dont get me wrong it was good but nobody played it ), new Trackmania (under the supervision of Ubisoft? I'll keep an eye on this) Sony, PSN apologies, 3D showcasing, new TV built for PS3 in the works?, Sly Racoon 4 (cool), Uncharted 3 (awesome), PS Vita (nice handheld console, not nice name). Nintendo, LoZ Anniversary, announcement of LoZ Concert worldwide tour, Shigeru Miyamoto doing Zelda poses to orchestrated jingles from LoZ, more info on Skyward Sword (with Golden Wiimote Plus) new 3DS games including Mario Kart (which looks like Diddy Kong Racing, which isn't bad), Star Fox 64 3D this time with dogfighting multiplayer!, Super Mario 3D (based off of SMB3, brilliant!), more Kid Icarus: Uprising and finally Luigis Mansion 2 for 3DS ( ), Kirby Wii which plays a lot like New Super Mario Bros Wii, Professor Layton and Kirby for DS (possibly the last titles for DS), the reveal of the Wii U ( IMHO on this despite doubts, it can go far see for yourselves), Nintendo announcing their heads back into the 'Hardcore' Market as well as entertaining the Casual Market (hence the name Wii U), third party support from most devs for Wii U also new Super Smash Bros for BOTH Wii U and 3DS. In conclusion this is my personal thoughts on E3, Nintendo = Sony (just) > Ubisoft > EA > Konami >>>>>>>>>>>> Microsoft. Honorable Mentions from those not in the big six (seven counting Konami): Skyrim, Street Fighter x Tekken, Soul Calibur V, Batman: Arkham City, Ninja Gaiden 3, Saints Row the Third, Shadows of the Damned (not featured in EA conference for some reason... but pre E3 trailer was cool), Postal 3 (say what you will, I lol'd at the 'grindhouse' trailer) and that's all for now! If there's anything I'm missing please add, also (FLAME SHIELDS UP!) COME AT ME FANBOYS/FANGIRLS.
