I heard a rumor that there might be a Last Exile live action movie in the works - this could either be brilliant, or a disaster..... I am hoping for brilliant...

From what i've been told the chun li movie is actually quite good.... This came from a very reliable street fighter obsessed fan who completely ripped the street fighter movie.... This warrants investigation!

Nah, I heard it blew chunks. Shame though, a Chun-Li movie would of sounded awesome...UNLIKE THAT OTHER MOVIE!

in regards to the last exile rumors what actually happened (but dont hold me to this) is the director of last exile was approached by someone from Hollywood at a con and said he would be interested in creating a live action adaption (or something along those lines) but that was way back in 2005. However on the 8th of july this year apparently some concept art was leaked onto the internet but intense searching by myself has turned up nothing but forum posts that say the art was asked to be removed by filmmakers mind you that still sounds promising

well it seems they might be putting effort into so i dont know if it would be bad or not. i want to see what happens. because this could be a giant shift for anime

And are you telling me that Zack Effron is playing Sosuke? Eeehhhhhh - this could be bad - but then again, let's not judge before we see the final product... And as Winnkey says - this could be a 'giant shift' for anime.. I'm still wanting to see how the Cowboy Bebop movie turns out: Keanu Reeves as Spike...... Hhhmmmm....

Urrr... I'm so on the fence about the bebop movie.... i REALLY want it to be good... i don't think ill ever be able to look at bebop the same way if it fails...
Last exile live action would have been interesting... IF done by the right people, but i suppose thats the way it is with any film.
