We all know of Dragonball and Avatar (i know avatar is not an anime so bear with me) are some recent anime to be turned into live action movies, but tonight i was just browsing the internet and i found a treasure cove of information that i am excited over. I think everyone thinks the DBZ movie is going to be a huge flop. And well im still under sided on the avatar movie (im leaning towards that it will kill it). But these New live action anime to Hollywood are actually making me excited.
Now i will post what im on about before any of u kill me.
first off the big two that are getting me really excited.
Live action Cowboy Bebop

Ghost In The Shell Live action 3D (what ever the 3d means i dont have a clue but that does not really matter
now the reason why these two are the ones that have got me excited and dont think they will do a flop is because of one main reason. Names. Now i know a name does not really mean success, but it does mean that it has large following, be it budget, seriousness and other such things. The big name for Cowboy Bebop is Keanu Reeves, thats right Neo is Spike. as for GITS it is Spielberg Dun DUN DAAA!!!!! now i dont know his level of involvement but his strong support of this can only be one major plus. As stated in the rumor the it looks that the budget for Cowboy Bebop will be "insane" and i could only imagine it will be the same for GITS, but thats only my guess.
Now on to the other ones. What you thought that was it? that i would make a thread like this if there was only two movies coming out. dont be silly there are 5 other anime movies that are going to be made into live action, some could be good the others i just think will be bad. but hey i could be dead wrong.
Well anyway lets start with the classics, I have already mentioned Ghost in the shell and some may think of Cowboy Bebop as a classic as well but there are two other main Classic anime that are being converted into anime and these two are.......
Live action Akira
Live action Ninja Scrolls
Now neither of these do i have much of liking for becuase i have watched neither of the anime, though i do know that they are very much indeed can be seem as anime classics. I will probably get around to watching them but intill then i dont have much hype for these movies, and i only briefly skipped over bother articles.
Ok Here are the last three, one i am under sided about its probably gonna be good but just because of the fights, one is probably just gonna turn out like the street fighter movie, the one with Van Dame in it. And one i dont have a clue because i know nothing of the anime.
First off the one of these three that i have most hopes for is..... (drum roll)
Tekken
Ok i know this is a game but i see it as a kind of anime game, well anyway you will have to get over it, cause one of the other ones is gonna be a game as well. This one i think will be good just for the fight scenes becuase its Probably Gonna be Rated R, now this may mean nothing but hopefully it means lots of gory fights and well thats a plus for me, but yes this was the fighting games that i grew up with and I still see them as the best ones out there. Moving on To the next Game bassed one.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li
as i said before i think this is gonna flop like the other Street fighter movie there has been. I dont really have much to say for this one, i did not really read over it because it looked kind of gay and well its gonna have a pg rating so well it has nothing on the tekken movie.
Ok and the last one that i found that i really dont care about is....
afro Samurai Live action
well the intro basically covers it i dont really care about this one, i did not read the artical and well i probably wont even watch it when the live action comes out. Only posted it because it fits under the tittle.
Well thats it, there are probably some that i have missed or somet that will be released in the future but well these are the ones i found and i hope they get u as excited as they did me.
