One question: Is it REALLY as good as people say it is? I'd find out for myself but I haven't had a chance to see it, nor do I think it would be possible in the near future.

hmmm its ok, Personally for something that was meant to be styled through comic books and what not it is no wear near as substantial as comic books.
What i usually need for a movie is a substantial plot and amazing characters to draw me into a movie, this has neither. The main character actually really pissed me off, and well the defeat the 7 evil ex's is the whole plot. and its just more 7 boss battles then any actual story line.
Its a light fun Indie movie which is styled off comic and gaming. Its almost a romcom aimed at males.
its probably the best movie out at the movies though just looked at the movie listings and tomorrow when the war began is out, so I say thats the best movie out atm and inception is still running soo Scott Pilgram is the third best movie out atm

The cinema appeared due to several technical inventions that practically coincided in time: a dry bromo-gelatin photo process with high photosensitivity (1878), a film on a flexible and durable basis (1889), a high-speed chrono-photography machine (1891) and a projector with the same speed (1895) year).
