Really - isn't it a little early to supersede the DS? 3D isn't all that great in my opinion....

Didn't the DS kick off in 2004-5 locally? It had a good run if the latest date of release (unless delayed knowing Nintendo) would be 2011.
As for 3D, if they do it right. I would LOVE to see stuff like F-Zero, Smash Bros or even Mario go 3D.

There are too many titles announced back since E3 2010 that this makes this console a no brainer.

What - they're re-releasing Zelda OoT on the 3DS? Bah! I can't keep up with consols and handhelds anymore T_T my wallet is empty.....
