Nick Simmons is the son of rocker Gene Simmons (KISS) and he has a comic (Incarnate) where the art-style and certain characters appear to be blatant rip-offs of certain Bleach characters.

The main character's face looks exactly like Ulquioraa Cifer. His true form looks similar to Ulq. The position is eerily reminiscent to Ichigo's fight with Ulq.
