It's not really an anime series but I just brought Daft Punks Interstella 5555 and it's a really good complaintion of there music and anime to back it up, picked it up at JB for about $10. JB itself has an excellent anime selection.
And what hardcore fan could leave out Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children? Or Last Order for that matter?
I also recently watched a really old series, I think it was Starblazers or Battleship Yanmato (Title was differnt in Japan and Australia) and I really enjoyed that, all outta spacey try and find a solotion to a dying earth thing.
Yeah.. And not really anime but Machinima, recently brought te box set of Rooster Teeths Red vs. Blue. Thats awesome hahaa.

I've recently purchased the first season of Tears to Tiara - it's fantastic, definantly worth a watch! Also, for any kendo practitioners (like myself) - Bamboo Blade. I also recommend watching Sword of the Stranger - brilliant movie. There's soo much anime, I can't think of anything else at the moment -_-

Yeah, I was advised that Speedgrapher is something I shouldn't watch due to the graphic content - but hell, I managed to sit through the first 5 eps of Gantz - now that IS graphic!

haha, thought you had forgotten about the forums yea i am loving my HOTD but this season my favorite is probably Shiki, but HOTD probably does have the better rewatching value. but yea it is gore and also echhi ish so people who turn at those htings should probably second think this one |

RAINBOW!!!!!!!! 19 episodes so far and i think there will be 24. it is now my favorite anime. no other media has gotten me so close to crying (i havent yet but i think there is a good chance by the end of the season ) I love it, just its an amazing anime. (not for the feint of heart) |
