well, today I had to suit-up for some formal crap at the school I was working at today. I noticed as I was standing in the gym, listening to the School principle go on and on about trivial stuff, that my suit jacket has no pockets. ......instead, cleverly designed fake pockets- that is, it looks like you have real pockets, but lift the fold of fabric and presto - no actual pocket. I thought to myself - if you're going to go to so much effort to make fake pockets - just attach some real ones then! Geezum! so inconvenient! I didn't figure this out until a couple of years ago when I was wearing a vest with "fake-pockets" and someone told me that they aren't actually fake pockets, they're sown up so that they don't get creased during transport or something. There should be a fine thread stitching it together, undo/cut that and you'll have your pocket. |

Personally i find fake pockets cool. it means i can give the illusion something is going into there and such.
On another subject, someone presumed that they know more about one piece then me. he thought after reading two chapters he knew everything! Really got proven wrong but those kinds of people get on my nerves.
He also tried to claim transformers came before gundam. boy did he get proven wrong by the three of us who watch it in the room.
Incidently i only have a few series of gundam to see left. Age is interesting

Katawa Shoujo is my first and will be my last visual novel (did Phoenix Wright count?). Had to make some choices to go with the flow of the story. I just picked from instinct as if I was put in the protagonists shoes. Ended up dying in the 1st act. *profanity* you game, *profanity* you.

I HAVE SPOKEN! On the subject of VN's the last one I played through was Umineko No Naku Koro Ni and that was amazing (well... not the art necessarily but definitely the story). The last one with choices was Silver Chaos... I'd rather not talk about "that" one. -__-" |

You know what I hate, when a headset/headphone goes mute in one ear but the other ear is working fine. Just thought I'd share that with you. It annoys the hell out of me.

A THOUSAND TIMES; THIS. I swear I am literally cursed when it comes to headphones. I doesn't matter how well I take care of them or how much I pay for them... this always happens. That or they lose the sound quality thry once had... *sigh* |

So I haven't ranted in a while - but, in saying that, I wouldn't really call this a rant; more-so a mini rant.. I don't know why, but it irritates me when I see things over punctuated - for example: "thanks for lending me this book - I'll start reading it on Thursday!!!!!!!" "This activity is great. Will use it in class on Monday!!!!!!!" "hey - what's up?  ??" etc these are examples I've taken from the internet, mind, but hey - is there some unknown urgency in these everyday remarks that warrants the extra "!!!" and " ?" It's damn annoying- but hey, maybe it's just me.... (hahahaha) |

IIRC it's charged per set amount of characters. For example it'll be something like every block of 150 characters is 30 cents, so 151-300 characters would be 60 cents etc. I just made up those numbers but you get the idea. That or they lose the sound quality thry once had... *sigh* Headphones shouldn't lose sound quality over time unless the cables become damaged, if anything they should get better once the drivers loosen up after some use. It's very common for cheaper headphones to fray at the speaker joint (especially if the cable has been tugged at) but it's usually easy to take them apart and solder it back in place. I'm interested to know what brands have failed you? I've bought a few pairs of Sennheiser, Koss and Audio Technica earbuds and headphones and they've all been faultless even though I use them very frequently. |
