I saw in a shop the 2nd Afro Samurai DVD. It was then I remembered how confusing and pointless the 1st one was? Does Afro Samurai Resurrection make any improvements from the 1st one? Should I give it another chance?

I bought it, if you didn't like the first one I don't know if you'll like the second. I thought it was brilliant, but it seemed to go by quickly without going anywhere; however it feels as though there's some underlying point to it that I can't figure out. Give it a try if you feel like it.

I've seen the first DVD that was released a year ago. It honestly didn't live up to the hype. It was slow, confusing and had many holes in the plot which leave me scratching my head.
