Gungrave could be a good one... the costumes are reasonably simple (well, most of them) but not so simple that it would be dismissed as a no effort cosplay.
And aside from not really liking the whole zombie thing (seriously, zombies in the mafia... WTF) Ive had something nagging at me telling me to cosplay Brandon heat as Grave. (ok... its his guns... they are epic)
The characters are:

Harry MacDowell
Maria Asagi
Dr. Tokioka
Big Daddy
Bear Walken (although we would need a black dude for him)
Bob Poundmax
Balladbird Lee
Bunji Kugashira

Dunkley suggested Last Exile to me today for a group, its not a bad idea... himself and i are doing last exile characters for amaranth, but we can always re-use them at any point.
Theres plenty of female characters and male characters with some pretty cool costumes.

BAH! so hard to fit that criteria... haha
I suppose final fantasy would always fit that...
Keep in mind that we dont have to only do one group, we can always do more! there's plenty of cons after all.

Well If we do decide to go for Final Fantasy I know it's overdone to hell but we coudl go with VII since I'm planning on doing Zack from it  Not only does he have a cool name (except with a K on the end  ) but he also looks super awesomespasm ;D This guy here if not everyone knows what I'm talking about:  I'm happy to do whatever other game. Any game or anime I actually know...   |

Sweet i would love to a group anime!!! Its what ive always wanted lol But at the moment this year aint good for me... still no sewing machine.... i wont have one till next year when i move into a bigger house, there is nowhere to put a sewing machine in this darn place.!!! Im up for anything really, just as long as you dont try and make me cosplay as a male character. i dont cross dress. |

hehe, thats ok, we can't really do a group one till next year anyway... and we won't make you dress as a male, i refuse to let that happen, we need an even amount of guy and girl characters to choose from.

We don't only have to do one group, we could do a few. Also, Rurouni Kenshin is AWESOME so we should do a massive group of it anyway... ;D
A cool little group could be wolfs rain (i may have mention this earlier, cant remember... haha)

I think a .hack//(insert series name here, theres a few to choose from) would be great to do, the characters are so unusual, but they are bright and fun. Plus theres lots of them, and we could make up are own and say they are generic game characters :-P

well im already planning on doing a Kaoru cosplay for RK and at least you wont make me cross dress lol. i think there are plenty of males in our group anyway. WE NEED GIRL POWER!!!!! .hack//sign is awesome. i watched that series but not the other ones. But its a great one to make up a new character that look as tho it belongs in that series. That would be fun!!!! |
