Hello there! As we are on the suggestions for club outings, (this might sound stupid), but why not try an authentic Japanese sport - Kendo! We get groups of students turning up from our sister city of Inagawa, and other countries as well, so I'm sure my Sensei won't mind having a group of otaku turn up for an evening! And being the only female member gets a little lonely too... It won't cost anything, so why not give it a try?

I wouldn't mind giving Kendo a shot, since im looking for a new dojo anyway. What are your training days?

Excellent! ;D We train on thurdays: I start at 5:30pm for Iaido, and kendo starts at 6:30pm til 8pm - Shinai are provided, I just gotta confirm how many people would be turning up... If you want to come along and check it out anyway, we are currently located at Ballarat East High school, Victoria street campus( a Temporary dojo) - in the hall on the corner closest to the intersection.. there is currently some construction going on near there on some school buildings... As for cosplay - do it if you dare

Darn...Yeah, we currently only train on Thursdays - I may be able to rangle a monday night training session, but all our yudansha (black belts in karate terms) train on thursdays.... let me know if you are willing to train on a thursday or a monday... and I'll see what I can do...
