aw thanx guys, my mum would love to here that. She has been working so hard to make those, all the unpicking, sewing, pining cuting ect. I think i better buy her something nice after manifest  Yea im excited about the comp cause now that i have a kimono like what Kaoru really wears as opposed to 'random kimono' Kaoru lol. |

I've made two kimonos - though I haven't made them out of satin - I went with a heavier fabric.... I can't say that mine look any good though - mind, it's my first attempt at making anything for cosplay, and my first attempt at using a sewing machine....

well if i tried making a kimono right now it would propably look like a mangeled dog.
I havnt sewn in years so i will be a bit scrappy at first so anything i make is bound to turn out bad.

I kinda wish I wasn't volunteering for the whole weekend now... next year we hope to have a D Grey man cosplay group - so far, we have Allen Walker (Rose), Yu Kanda (Myself) and Rhode (K) - need a Lavi..... Oh, and my zori arrived from japan today - they fit nicely...

hellloooo all, just a quick update and teaser shot for my cosplay im wearing to the meeting today, hehe yeh i kno its shocking and everything but its just a quick fun one that i wanted to do.....  so yeh should i just leave it as is for the meeting or should i add sage eyes  so red round the outside and yellow contacts? obviously im doing narutos signature face markings too so dont fret this is just a tester.... hehehe and yes this is the horrible yellow wig but i dont care its fun! |
