At the moment, I'm playing Valkyrie Profile: Covernent of the Plume on DS - I have to say, it is painfully difficult - there are just some absolute BS battle you have to fight, and you have like a 5% chance of victory....

Well at Manifest I managed to play a few game tourneys: Pokemon Tourney: Lasted two rounds in the tournament. Got pwned by a Gyrados with my Milotic, Rhyperior, Scizor party. Smash Tourney: Won the first round but on the second round my Luigi misfired on his forward+B attack and my target dodged, hence falling off the edge and recovery was impossible *facepalm* Blazblue Tourney: I made it to the top 8! I am somewhat pleased that I managed to make it that far.
Hopefully I can get better luck out of the Street Fighter IV and Retro Game tournaments.
EDIT: In the Street Fighter IV Tournament I made it into the top 4! Kinda sad that I was one match off the grand final but I'm still satisfied with what I did. As for the retro game challenge, ugh the 1st mystery game was Goldeneye on N64 which I haven't played. The game handles like a nightmare, I don't care what people say.

Im currently hitting the ds hard. been playing shin megami tensei: devil survivor for the last 3 weeks. i highly recommend it to any fans of FFtactics or fireemblem. story wise, it initially reminded me of a cross between Deathnote and The World Ends With You. Recently Ive gone back to the Castlevania series on ds. Mainly Dawn of Sorrow. I also agree with an earlier poster that MGS3 is amazing. It should at least be tried by everyone

Recently started on Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose. (An absolute bargain at $15, great condition, pre-owned from Ballarat JB Hi-Fi: 2 Disc + DVD Movie digipak version)
And I realize I need to level up to stand a chance against bosses. A LOT.

Don't grind too long. The RPG symptoms will eventually arise and will cause you to grind until the break of dawn.

I snagged the last Limited Edition copy of Dissidia Final Fantasy a few days back. Frustrating to play (currently playing as Warrior of Light from FF1) but it's not bad.

I started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum about two days ago. I am happy to say that even when Animated in a videogame, Batman is still a spunk. *swoon*
