Samurai Champloo is so cool!
There's a few AMVs I've been meaning to make and mabye enter them in the comp at Manifest. Just need to figure out what music to use with them hehe.

Not "ideas" as such just shows I'd like to make some for. Something along the lines of shows like Neon Genesis, Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Ghost in the Shell, Dragon Ball and Dragonbal Z, pretty much all my favorite animes. Depending on what songs I find will be what determines what show I'll do the AMV of and the style it will be done. I also want it to be done to a song that hasn't been done before for an AMV for that particular anime. I'll keep you posted  |

My advice: NEVER USE LINKIN PARK FOR ANY AMV. MOST OVERUSED BAND IN ANY AMV FOR ANY ANIME!

Windows Movie Maker is a good newb program, it's built into Windows. Adobe Premiere is another good suggestion, yet you have to pay to use.

Yeah I used to do a bit of editing so I have Adobe Premier but I need to upgrade cos I have an OLD version hehe. Movie Maker is alright for starting out, I made a decent Final Fantasy X amv with that a while ago. Sucks I lost a lot of my own AMVs when my old PC crashed.  Anyway, thanks to the "whats stuck in your head?" thread I thought I'd post one of the best Rurouni Kenshin AMVs I've seen so far which uses that DDR song "Butterfly" mentioned in that thread and it fits so well with the Anime. Anyway, here it is, enyjoy: |
