Anyone else here into Vocaloid? I only recently started liking it because I bought one of their albums on a whim at Manifest (Kamui Gakupo) and what can I say; their music is sort of addictive, heh. If you've only ever heard Hatsune Miku then I reccomend checking out the voices of some other Vocaloids because there's some really awesome songs! (: ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfe22shoCG8 Good Song. Good Song. In my opinion...)

I've got a couple of Vocaloid albums, one is called Supercell and the other is Re:packaged. They're both very good. I might have some more somewhere, but these are the only ones I can think of right now. Click the image for the download link. I'd actually recommend Supercell to someone even if they weren't a fan of vocaloid, it's a pretty sound album. Now all I have to do is learn to speak Japanese...

Vocaloid is brilliant! I really don't know why, but my favourite song is currently Matryoshka (the original version).

Matryoshka is great. I just love Gumi's voice... especially now that she's been re-vamped for the Vocaloid 3 engine. I also love Lens new Append (and I don't usually like Len...). Now that Lily's new V3 engine is out (I reccomend checking out her songs; her voice isn't bad despite what people say) its only a matter of time before Gakupo V3 demos will start coming out! >////<

I have played the Miku Hatsune Project Diva 2 PSP game. I got to know more about the Vocaloids from that PSP game that I had to import from Japan. Earlier on I used to look onto youtube and see Miku and her friends on a few vids, one of them was an edit that someone did with Vocaloid on this JPop song called Balalaika www.youtube.com/watch?v=dApxuCXCyWQ&feature=relatedIt was the first time I was exposed to Miku Hatsune, as well as finding out one of my first fav Japanese Pop songs.

Also in the PSP game of Project Diva 2, I really love Vegetable Juice as well as the song of the Forest and the Desert.

Ah yes, Po Pi Po is very cute <3 The graphics for Project Diva are absolutely amazing! I remember watching the trailer and literally being blown away by how much detail they'd put in~! (I wish Kaito and Meiko had been in the trailer too tho...) It's amazing just how popular Miku is in Japan. I personally like Internet's Vocaloids better than Crypton's as a whole, but they're all very awesome. /end (:

Actually, there's a new installment of Project Diva coming out very soon. It's going to be called "Project Diva F", and I'm guessing it will use the new Append Voicebanks and Vocaloid 3 tuning software. Get excited!!~

Thank *profanity* the Vita is region free unlike the 3DS (seriously, WTF Nintendo) I agree, Region Lock is evil because it means that people like us can't play awesome Japanese games that never get localized. There have been so many times as a Nintendo fan when I was younger that I kinda wished Nintendo would at least change that part of their business when it came to consoles. And because since the DSi, they started to region lock handhelds, I really felt devistated. At least I still have my original DS phat (I call it my GameGirl) so I could at least play DS and GBA cames multi region. thankfully PS3 was multiregion so I could finally invest in importing from the US all those JRPGs but in the last few years we have been lucky to have NISA marketing the games to our region.
