I believe the Good Games in Ballarat do orders for Manga/Anime and even Comic Books if that's your thing.
While we are on the topic, how burned are we all from hearing about Borders closing. A good place to get manga, as long as people didn't READ BEFORE THEY BUY IT...

Are you able to get to Melbourne at all? If so, you should definantly go to Minotaur - best place to buy manga from, and they also have the best selection: I get my copies of Vampire Knight from there (the Shojo beat edition, not the Madman version).
I stopped buying manga from Borders 'cos I was pissed off with paying full price for manga that had been read and mangled by 200 other people...
Also, Goodgames only order in the Madman editions of manga - as far as I know.

Quick tip on Minotaur. THEIR MANGA IS OVERPRICED. Just throwing it out there.

Minotaur is incredibly overpriced. I'd personally order it from either madman.com.au or amazon.com. A friend of mine bought the entire series of Neon Genesis Evangelion on manga on sale from Madman online for $50 a few months ago.
Keep in mind amazon takes like 20 years to ship anything to Australia.

Yeah Minotaur is VERY overpriced I mean... you don't want to be a fool and pay $80.00 for something you can get for $65.00 at JB hi-fi (i did...)
But anyway in terms of manga in Ballarat, occaisionally at the Angus and Robertson in Wendouree Village/Stockland they have random manga. Oh and the Nextra in the Bridge Mall sells a magazine called Otaku USA every 2 months, and that has manga inserts.
Other than that theres Borders, but they're closing down. Hope this helped (:

Amazon are good to a point - sure, you get your manga cheap, but the postage is the crippler - and yes, they take half a century to post to Australia. I was just in Minotaur today, I don't find them that expensive: the advantage is that they have the selection - and yes: they have Ouran HSHC... The choice is up tp the individual.....

My newsagents sells those and they are still two months old... take it from me and support Animavericks with a subscription. They do good work IMHO.
