I was hoping to talk to people about their plans for supernova at the meeting, but by the time we watched the epps we had little time left.
My plans:
going all 3 days (friday preview night+ the weekend)
Staying at the YHA (I've booked)
Cosplaying Hughes on Saturday and master chief on sunday.
Sadly i just don't think my ODST will be done in time, unless i somehow magically get a week off to do another armour crunch. BUT I will do some improvements to my master chief, ill have the assault rifle done and some minor cosmetic improvements, like getting rid of some of the visible screws, and some mods for my comfort while wearing it.
I'm unsure about what cosplay contests I'm going to enter, I'm waiting to hear back from supernova about some Q's i had about entering both the madman national comp and the masquerade comp with the same cosplay (one going alone, one as a group)
But my master chief will be entered in a comp (most likley sunday)
Rose- Are you going both days in ed elric? And are you planning on entering the cosplay comp?
To everyone- If your planning on trying to find a backpackers or hotel to stay for the con, start looking, there's a big F1 race the same weekend, every day you wait the less likley you are to get in. I suggest the YHA, its the closest well priced place to the con. And i need some drinking buddies for after hour con mayhem!

just wondering how much it is?? and is that for the weekend??? i might look into booking that and supernova ticket sometime in the next few days
