There's always the option of a cosplay picnic somewhere? It's cheaper and you don't have to worry about bills or booking. All BYO.

Are there any good japanese restaurants in ballarat - aside from the Tokyo grillhouse? It would be awesome if we could all eat ramen together in cosplay! I suppose that would have to be something left until Manifest - We could organise a dinner out during Manifest....

well i was thinking pancake kiction we could use one of the upper levels in cosplay i could try to get the night off work for the cosplay comp and do dinner after that  |

Pancake Kitchen eh? Not a bad Idea Ed!  also, I think they do serve waffles there.... I like waffles better than pancakes - pancakes are just inflated flour.... |

Unless we are all dressed as VAMPIRES!....eh actually screw that I don't want to go through hours of prosthetic makup again just to go out and eat...unless it's to eat humans!...But even then it might be too much work...
Kenshin, Squall or the Great Saiyaman out eating pancakes could be interesting...

Haha, you could always change cosplays for the tea, it doesn't have to be the same as the comp.
