Also, I've decided to go as Shinji Ikari (schoolboy outfit, not EVA suit -- WAAYYY too much work for that hehe). You know, something simple for a first-time cosplay (already got most of the things needed). I'll get photos up as soon as I can find a decent wig.

one of the bigest problems people cosplaying shinji face is hes not very recognisable not in the plug sute. but i still look forword to seeing it

I did find a plug suit Shinji cosplay I saw on the net, and in real life. Let me just say this, Thank god I DID NOT get it.

WAH!!!!! why does everyone have to make awesome cosplays and stuff. i feel sillies... *sobs*
I really want to make something awesome. I have so many ideas for cosplays but when is see what others have done i think there is no-way i could make something that good.

I know it's not an anime cosplay, but I'm getting a little desperate - does anyone know where I can get a dressform for cheapish? Or even better, does anyone want to lend me one for a few weeks? (I'll pay you in cake.) I have everything I need for my Sally Jupiter cosplay but unless I find a pattern for it I'm going to have to dive into it and do it by draping it and working it out manually. (If anyone can find a pattern for something close to this, you are my hero.)  |

Roadkill- Try asking here: www.australiancostumersguild.org.au/forum/index.php?I know a few people on there have done silk specter cosplays, they might be able to help. I did a fair bit of work on my Kodachi's today, the handles on both are now gluing to the blades. Not much more to do now  |
